No Camera....

This past weekend we had our usual busy weekend! I went to a baby shower for a longtime friend of mine on Saturday afternoon and had a great time. Darren and I took the boys to Kody's game late Saturday morning and it was SO cold, but I have to say I bundled up the babies and they didn't notice it at all. Brooklynd's face was so cold and Darren was a little chilly so they did sit in the car to warm up just before we left, but Braeden would have stayed and played all day if we'd have let him! He is such a big boy the boys played on all the play equipment. Braeden had two little girls that he was following around who doted on him! I can't believe how big Braeden is, he climbs all over the equipment like a pro...my baby is growing up! Brooklynd used the smaller slide and I taught him how to get up a way he could on his own and he did that over and over and over until we had to go back over to where we were sitting. It was the first time in a long time I've gone to anything where I'd normally take photos and not had a camera and I have to say although I miss my camera (especially because I LOVE taking pictures of my boys) it has been a nice break not being behind one all of the time. There have been 2 adult evenings out for Darren and I, 1 children's birthday party, 1 bridal shower and 2 of Kody's baseball games I've attended and NOT taken pictures at...I've actually got to enjoy each one being solely a spectator. Now with that said I'm ready for a camera. I have my eye on a Nikon from Costco that is a beginners camera and I've researched it in hopes of the package being available when I'm ready to purchase.

Hippity Hop...Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We had a special houseguest this past weekend, Darren's sister Stacy- which was great fun! We had a super busy weekend, we took the boys to their very first Easter Egg Hunt and they had an awesome time! The boys favorite friend Grant turned 2 and his birthday party was lots of fun, it was held at Gymboree where they played with a giant parachute and lots of other climbing toys as well as chased bubbles! We celebrated Easter with the annual brunch we attend at my bosses house and had tons of food and of course the infamous brown sugar bacon, which we've been awaiting all year! Here are a few pictures(thanks to Aunt Stacy) of our weekend!

I'm a slacker!

So I haven't posted for quite sometime for several reasons. The first being that with school and work and family stuff, I have been keeping quite busy. Last week was Spring Break and I'm back to homework again this week! The other main reason is because the camera I was borrowing since my first was stolen was also stolen (while in my purse- which was stolen!) It's a long story with a lot of drama I'd rather not get into. Any who...I haven't gone to get a new camera and will first be replacing my sisters that was stolen...so it could be a few weeks/months! For any of you who truly know me, you know that in itself is a HUGE problem...I NEED a camera, I use them all the time and cannot believe I've gone this long with out one! I hope you all are well and will post Easter pics as soon as they are sent to me. In addition we attended Grant's 2nd birthday part and there were the cutest pictures of my boys which of course were lost when the camera was stolen and then pics of my baby Braeden in his big boy bed on the first night. Once I get a camera I will take more of those and once the other person sends me pics of the boys at Grant's party (no pressure!) I will also post those. At least I have all of the memories I just wish I had all of the pictures too ;-) Don't even get me started! Tata for now....

Tim's 50th Birthday Party!

We celebrated on my bosses 50th birthday last night! The celebration was held at the Tualatin Country Club. We had a phenomenal dinner, drinks and quite an eleaborate hypnotist performance! I was quite skeptical about the hypnotist before he initially began, but it was very entertaining and humorous. My parents, sister, Jason, Darren and I went out afterwards and had a great time! I didn't get any photos of the hypnotist because we were elected to video tape the performance, but I did get a few from the rest of our evening out...here they are!

Brooklynds 2nd Birthday Pics!

We finally got in to get Brooklynd's pictures done Superbowl Sunday! He did a great job. Can you believe our baby is already 2? We can't. He talks so much and is so smart, like his big brother. Here are a few of the pictures! Enjoy...

Happy Early V-day!

SURPRISE!!

So last Saturday I threw a surprise poker tourney for Darren (with a few of his buddies) and then a night out for with our close friends/family for his birthday! Although he knew I was planning something he didn't know for sure what. It turned out well, although it's never easy to keep a secret from someone who asks 20 questions daily! He has his suspicions but was surprised still!
Below are a few of the pictures....As you know I lost my camera so these are (thankfully) from Kimberly Ann!! Also, there aren't very many of the birthday boy (there is exactly 1) as all of those were on my camera :-( Here are the ones I do have!

Camera Stolen!!!

So during Darren's birthday celebrations I accidentally left my camera in the bathroom. I returned about 5 minutes later and it was gone. I was more mad than anything at my mistake- but I am already having withdrawals. As most of you know I take daily pics of my kids and I also have to use it for school. I think this weekend we will purchase a smaller camera and then purchase a Nikon in a few months at least I hope that is what we do.
